I don't see where this movie will enhance anything beyond some skewed facts and added fiction to a issue thats debated among people about that plane when it went down in Penn. Its very hard to tell what happened...some say hero's acted others say flight controls were out of hand etc etc.. so this kinda reminds me of a documentary on a level of "The Big One" earthquake that may happen and what goes on.

I'll probably watch the movie but it sure will be weird to see it. I wonder what Muslim actors or look-a-like Muslims for that matter in Hollywood that would put their faces on the big screen depicting something so tragic from 9/11?

Flight 93, they showed a little movie on tv that was pretty interesting. Factual? I'm not sure but very interesting to say the least.

A number of folks went and saw "THe Perfect Storm" and no one knew what happened to them.

I watched that one as well Spammy...and was totally spellbound through the entire thing. Speculation? Factual? Who knows...but those writers did one bang up job. This is one movie I might be forced to go see...and I have not been in a theater in a good ten years plus!! The last movie I saw in a theater was Ghost...does that tell ya?

I waited for the DVD on this one too.

Funny thing is .... the same night of that storm, 10/31/91......we had a major blizzard here......ended up with 30+ inches of snow.

People did make cell calls from the plane explaining to loved ones what was going on, and some of the flight deck recordings depict what actually happened as well as the radio traffic between the plane and ground control. I imagine that most of this would be classified but with the right contacts and the right legal department pursuing a FOIA request, I expect to see some authentic scenes.

If anything, it's a good story to tell others how free people stood up in the face of death...together, and made a final stand.

this movie will put a face to the victims that we never knew...and will humanize them to other would be killers/terrorists. Remember, terrorists look at us as symbols and not as human beings.

wonder if the movie will tell the truth about why there were no bodies recovered. There has never been a crash on record where no bodies were recovered. Unless in a war, and a heat-seeking missle vaporizes the pilot of the plane.

Plane shot down by us? Interesting also where the plane crashed, grass still will not grow...radiation?
