Why 1323Options ON if ReceiveWindow=17520

Post by dancer_2006 »

Hi everyone here.
Using SG TCP Optimizer v2.0.2 in XP SP2 cable modem 96 Kbps:
1. I am moving the ConnectionSpeed slider towards 128 Kbps, for it is the nearest one . Is it OK or should I try something else?
2. Having this, I wonder why TCP1323Options is suggested to be ON, if TCPReceiveWindow=17520; I understand from you TCP1323Opts must be SET only for RWIN values over 65535. Is that a bug in TCP Optimizer, or I am misunderstanding the rules?
Thanks for your help.
Regards
William

also theres a few settings in advanced tab which are different to mccoffee's settings. mccoffee's speeded my connection up, whilst "optimal" appeared to slow it down.
