How do I increase my BT speed?

Post by Sgt_Strider »

I'm currently using the Bitcomet to download my stuff and I'm averaging 10-20kbs. I heard my ISP, Shaw (Canadian ISP), is throttling the speed. However, I want to maximize my speed by opening up some ports, but I'm not sure how. I have a linksys befsx41 router. If someone here can tell me how to open up the ports for my BT client, that would be greatly appreciated.
