Jason Schechterle is a local police officer that was rear-ended while sitting at a light in his Crown Vic Interceptor. Crown Vics have a known defect that can cause them to catch fire if rear-ended bad enough. This man was severely burned, yet lived and is now back to work as a police officer again. He is a local hero.
The weekly world news has named him as one of the "Top Ten Ugliest People in the World" in their latest issue. They need to die a horrible and extremely painful death.

And to think he even went back to work! Can you imagine getting stopped by him? I'd be willing to bet that some people probably think it's some kind of joke, seeing him walk up, like something off of one of these TV shows where they set people up.

That accident happened here in Phoenix. I remember seeing it on the news. He was a Phoenix Cop. Saw him on Discovery Science show on the discovery channel. Got pretty choked up about it. Too bad people have to poke fun at him. Tabloids have no soul.
