I'm impressed with this keyboard...

Post by mountainman »

I have some basic Logitech keyboard that I bought at Office Depot over a year ago for like $15. Last weekend I spilled a WHOLE GLASS of water over the top of it. It was all over. I tipped the keyboard upside down and water just poured out.

I still haven't had any trouble with it.

SWEET !!

I've got some 5 dollar keyboard I've been using for years now (second hand and free), and the wife has gone through about 5 or 6 in the same amount of time.
The keyboard she's using now was bought last X-Mas for about 89 bucks, and almost every key is worn to the point you can't see the letter on it lol

I like the cheap stuff, cause the cheap stuff works, and works and works :)

I don't want my keys to be stuck to themselves.

(Well, anymore than they already are.)

i got an old keyboard for free from my teacher about 4 months ago, and the scary thing is....i replaced the keyboard i was using at that time ( with hotkeys) and found myself being more comfortable using the old junky keyboard. If only it had hotkeys, other that than i dropped the junky kb on the floor for countless times and it never seemed to bother that old thing lol

It seems the "cheap" keyboards that came with the older systems really stand up to punishment. I have one that dates waaaay back and still works great! :thumb:

Keyboards, well, the old kind, are pretty simple things. Unless you screw them over mechanically, there's not much that can go wrong.

This one has had a few accidents with my particularly strong brew of tea and besides some discolouration, it's ticking along nicely. The A key is a little faded is all that's wrong with it really.
Australian Regular Army and proud of it.

I spilled a little bit of tea on my Logitech, but it was about $75, and we had to throw it out and buy a new one...but I do love my keyboard. It is the itouch model, and it matches my monitor..bonus :thumb:
