i did b4 i using MIRC i usually go to those so call "warez" site to download movie. dont Take personaly some site or good but some or bad. First few time its fine but after while the site ever dead or the movie link its dead & the havent mention the slow A*S server they starge the movie, like IDrive, freedisk... so on. i sick of that so i turn to MIRC. Well since then i get all the latest movie. The Newest one i just got its Monkey Bone, Recess School Out, and 3000 Miles To Graceland.
However mIRC acts as a file server because of it's file transfer protocol (dcc) it implements into the software, every piece of messaging software (aim, icq, and mirc) use different implementations of file transfer. So the speeds you attain will be only as good as good as the implementation in the program.
