mvp 2004 question

When i want to bring up a player from the minors. Lets say a RF so i bring him up and send another RF down. So i set the batting order for both teams and the deffence for both teams. But it always says for the minor leauge team that i dont have all four line ups filled in correctly. Which i am pretty sure i do. I dont want the cpu to set it for me because it screws everything up. Anyway if anyone plays this game and knows what iam talking about i would appricaite a tip.
