mp3 to wav
anyone can tell me how to encode it and then burn it as a music cd ?
i was doing this 8 years ago last time and i need some update

also what software do i need to use

EAC, plus LAME.

EAC can convert mp3 to wav and vice versa. Also rip songs off of CDs with great accuracy to recover scratched songs. You can burn the files with whatever software you have on your comp.

You can just use Winamp and set the Output mode to "Disk Write."

The iTunes player also is a very easy one or two click process to burn .mp3 files to cd audio files.

Just use Nero Burning ROM (http://www.nero.com)
Drag the .mp3 to the write window, click write, converts the .mp3 on the fly, it burns the CD, your done.

And for WAV to MP3, there are innumerable utilities that do that. Try CNET.com and look for MP3 utilities.

Perhaps it'd be easier if you'd've specified that you meant EAC. You seemed to be speaking in general.
