[NHL] Predators acquire Zholtok, Bombardir
3rd and 4th round picks....eh :|
Minnesota needs solid veteran players. Solid goal scoring veterans. Fans were nicely rewarded with last years playoff run but this year has been an offensive drought. Hockey in Minnesota should never be as bad as it is. Is detroit ever cellar dwellers? No, they're not.
For a state that claims to be so committed to hockey, I just don't see them making the right moves time and again.

Respice,
How is this not the right move for Minnesota? They are unloading players who are going to be unrestricted free agents at the end of the year (and who most likely will sign back with Minnesota if a strike is averted). Minesota is out of the playoffs and are loading up on early round draft picks right now. None of these players are superstars. In the long run, this is good for Minnesota.
