This Is What I Don't Get About Gay Peeps.........

Post by Prey521 »

If they wanna be gay, then fine be gay, what I don't understand that is how come is it that they have to take on the other genders "role"? Why can't they be gay and still act masculine/feminine? WTF is that about? I've seen some women that scare the s*it outta me and I've seen some "men" whom if you only heard their voice, you'd swear it's a damn woman!!! Why do a lot of lesbians insist on cutting their hair with that fade look and wearin no makeup lookin like a freakin troll? Why do a lot of gay men have to have a high pitched voice and flail their hands as if they're having convulsions? Can someone explain this to me cuz I sure don't get it! Having been a NY'r living in the East Side for 25+ years, I have seen way more than my share of homosexual tendencies, and it still boggles my mind!!!

Because what you're not seeing, is the majority of gay people who "don't look gay"...or "don't fit your stereotype" of gay.

Not every gay male is a Christopher Lowell type and not every gay female is a buzz cut she-man type that works as a guard in a correctional facility.

Actually, the majority aren't.

You'd be shocked.

That's true... feminime gay men act more female than women do. Snappin their fingers, movin their necks side to side... I cant be friends with someone like that. Not only is it embarrassing, but it's pathetic. Act yourself. You want to be gay, fine...

it's funny... they wanna be women so bad... get with one if you know what they're worth damn it! Nothin better than kitty kat... the real, official, born with kitty kat... no surgery made ones ew

Anyway.. I dont hate homo's... I have a few friends that are gay themselves.. but don't act like little >female dogs<.
Look up.... you might learn something new. :)

Oh, I know plenty of gay people that don't act like the stereotypical gay guy/gal you see on TV, that is why it boggles me!!

The gay slice of society has it's share as well.

I've always wondered if a case could be made that those that scream loudest about gays, in fact, do harbor some of the same tendencies..

I only say that because in my short lifetime....I've grown accustomed to the idea that those who shout the loudest about something.........well I'm sure I'm getting my point across.

So if I scream loud about Nazism I secretly want to wear the Deaths Head Insignia?

Simon Weisenthal would be surprised to hear that.

With respect your argument is specious and logically contains a strawman fallacy. People may disagree very strongly with a view without there being any particular sub rosa reason.

For instance, I disagree very strongly with the Mayor of SF handing out marriage licenses. I disagree with him because A) The Executive Branch of a Gov't has a clear *duty* to uphold the laws, even the ones they disagree with, and B) It's a really bad idea to let Activist mayors toss out laws they don't like. Because C) Then Conservative Activist mayors might decide to toss out laws THEY don't like, like say, Roe V Wade.

Get it?

Gov't by executive fiat is a HORRIBLE idea. There's no consistency beyond the next election and it's a CLEAR violation of the seperation of powers. The Executive branch has NO business doing the Legislative or Judicial branches jobs.

In point of fact I want gay couples to have the same legal rights as hetero couples, I want them to lobby the State Legislators and Congressmen and Senators. I want them to gain those rights through the system just as every other group before them gained rights through the system, like say, the Civil Rights Act, which is the best proof that that DOES work. By going through the system you end up with a fairer, more balanced result that neither side will be 100% satisfied with but which represents the will of the people as a whole. And which has the full backing of the law.

And we are a nation of laws. Not of Activist mayors deciding which laws they'll uphold when.

Lot's of disagreement in the above paragraphs.. not one whit of which is sexually oriented.

we are a nation of laws true...but is that absolute?

What is the difference if this one law is broke per se, compared to maybe hundreds or thousands of other laws on the books that are there but not enforced for one reason or the other?

Aside from just breaking the law in of itself it not like anyone is getting hurt by it.

Actually I was just having a bit of fun with the thread and yanking Prey's chain...but imho...the anology you stated.."So if I scream loud about Nazism I secretly want to wear the Deaths Head Insignia?" isn't related to the same mindset.........but then I'm sure your aware of that.

Let's look at this (my analogy...) a different way....Did you spend any time in church? It wasn't too hard for me, even as a youngster to figure out which ones walked the path and which one's talked the path.

We as humans love to legislate morality. Those with a louder voice, at least in my experience had and have something to hide..

This.."Gov't by executive fiat is a HORRIBLE idea. There's no consistency beyond the next election and it's a CLEAR violation of the seperation of powers. The Executive branch has NO business doing the Legislative or Judicial branches jobs. "

Nothing there to disagree about.

Again...I should have including a :) with the above post but imho.....it's not incorrect either. ;)

I don't really see any argumentative statements, merely observation.
