French Horn polish
i got a holton H379 silver and was just wondering if anyone knew if i could polish it with that silver stuff that makes silver platters look like new
If a duck had lips, could it whistle? think about it...
Use a *MILD* silver polish with a silver polishing rag. Yes, they make special rags for polishing silver. Remember, it's silver plated brass, so too much abrasive or too strong a cleaner will wear away the silver.

One of the acidified thiourea dips like Tarn-X could be used, but I do not know if I would bother. Isn't their a certain charm to the patina?

I want to learn more and more to see as beautiful what is necessary in things; then I shall be one of those who make things beautiful. Amor fati: let that be my love henceforth! I do not want to wage war against what is ugly. I do not want to accuse; I do not even want to accuse those who accuse. Looking away shall be my only negation. And all in all and on the whole: some day I wish to be only a Yes-sayer.
