nvidia driver problem

nvidia driver problem

i have a g4 mx440 and before i got the 52.16 whql drivers i was gettin 4226 and with them i got 3888! wats goin on ??

Its a GF4 MX... What else would you expect from a budget card? Its 3dmark just play games who cares about 3dmark.

Didn't nVidia fix those alleged cheats prior drivers of theirs had in 3DMark? So now the score is more realistic?

Is he talking about 3DMark2001 or 3DMark03, I wonder...

If it's '03, there ain't no way an MX card could nail that high of a score.

Agreed....I'd say he's not talking about the newer one. Hmmm...something in the new drivers then. Wonder if his settings are the same. Wonder of those driver cheats do go all the way back to the old 3DMark?

i think it has someting to do with the new driver catering towards FXs and image quality. he should tryr running the image quality tests with each version and have a look.

the eary 40s versionworks best for the geforce4 series. my laptop's score fell from 9200 to 8800 with similar changes.
