slow boot for win98 se

hi,

i have a win98 se installed in my box, and i noticed that after i configured my lan card for dsl, i noticed that the loading of windows 98 se took longer. win xp even boots faster... i dont know why....

please help me, i need your insights...

Well XP is made to boot faster than 98... it all depends on what programs/services u are running. Also you can try using microsofts bootvis tool.

Not sure why it would be slower after changing your LAN settings though :(
