Last yard chores of the season

Post by Joint Chiefs of Staff »

and I didn't have to do any of it. :D

I hired my 16 year brother-in-law for the day to cut, weed whack and clear some branches that have fallen. I don't like when my wife has to do my job. Although, she had to feed and pay him. lol

How about you guys? Finished for the season?

Nope.....At least one more grass cutting and leaves still have not fallen. So I still have leaves.

And an application of natural fertilizer in the middle of November.

They guy who blows out my sprinklers was here earlier. He insisted on doing it today, or else I'd have to find someone else to do it. Man...it's almost 80 degrees out and I haven't seen a single frost yet. So I fired him.

I noticed the temps out west reading USA Today while out for a coffee, crazy warm.

Yup me too.

My parents and my sister don't do any of the work, it's up to me to do all the yardwork.

I think I have 1 more lawn mowing left. Gotta haul the boat soon too...perhaps one more fishing trip with Dave's World.

Yup. A little cajun seasoning, pan seared ....ate 'em up...about an hour after we got back. Pretty fresh!

Bonita not as good as yellowfin or bluefin...but still quite tasty.

Sounds tasty. Hey do you get any bluefish or flounder up your way.

My pop and I used to fish for those bad boys all weekend on the Chesapeake. Good times.

Yeah, they had our's last night. Went to it with a few friends. We should be pretty decent this year again, and with a new head coach.....STILL pissed we lost Bill Self  Pre-season rankings have us anywhere from 8-13 in the polls.

Yup, and yup. Stripers too. And fluke (Dave caught a pretty good sized fluke prior fishing trip out). Those 4 are the common ones around here. Oh, and blackfish too.

I've never heard of blackfish but I'm sure if I catch one I wouldn't have a problem eating it. lol
