Internet Connection Firewall

Well I read on tweakxp.com that if you disable it might decrease some lag in online games, and ive been experiencing some lag lately and cannot fix it

Well I already have a firewall program, Sygate.

I was wondering if I could uncheck Internet Connection Firewall in the properties of my Broadband and NIC

will there be any differences?

Yes, and while you're at it, also disable it in your Services along with the Application Gateway Layer (alg.exe).

how come on blkvipers page, he doesnt tell you to disable those for the safe profile?

just curious

and what is the Application Layer Gateway Service

BlackViper doesn't tell you what to disable...he tells you what each Service does and the different possible settings to help tweak your OS. He offers the table with the different levels in order to demonstrate everything from regular tweaks to the 'super' tweaks.
