Avast vs. AVG

I've been using Avast Antivirus for about 6 months, and have been happy with it. I have used AVG, but it has been a while. Does anyone have any recent experience with both, and if so, what is your preference and why?

i dont use both .. im using AVG nw . and im like it .. as its scan is quite throughly and good to use .. nth bad abt it (at least for mi ) ..
