NIC settings

In network connection in my NIC properties on the GENERAL tab all of the 4 things are unchecked, are any suppose to be checked?

i have winxp btw
and have DSL
i am asking because i am getting lag in servers for counterstrike

Large MTU may cause problems, but try changing your connection settings to dial-up in your game(s) to see if this helps.

I don't know what you mean by "4 things unchecked in NIC properties". NIC properties are things like resources your NIC uses, various settings like duplex, media type, etc. But there's no check boxes for NIC properties.

You talking about which networking components/protocols/services you should load or bind?
