Don't know a whole lot about them.....but I do wish it were legal to shoot one out of a moving vehicle...at other "inconsiderate" moving vehicles.....
The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, and prejudices to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all of its own for the children and the children yet unborn and the pity of it is that these things cannot be confined to the Twilight Zone.
My Brothers and I mess around shooting each other every now and again. everyone has an opinion of which paint marker is best. I use a
Spyder TL+ My brother uses a Tippmann Custom 98 Semi Auto they both work great but the Tippman is i think more reliable it will shoot just about any paint no matter how cheap. My spyder is kind of finicky about the paint it will shoot well. the tippmann is easy to take apart and it is easy to clean if it does break a ball. But I suggest going to a local place and try some out for yourselves you can find cheap ones and you can also spend in the thousands for one. Hope this helps

I often wonder if the voices in my head ever get frustrated because I'm just too damn lazy to climb that clock tower.

http://www.888paintball.com Great prices. If you can shell out 23 more bucks you can get the tippman 98 custom which is fully upgradeable and one of the most durable markers(gun) on the market today. If you have any more questions you can PM me.
heh for 25 + shipping you can have my equipment. I haven't been out in a couple of years so I really don't need it, but I did pay a lot for it so I gotta at least be able to buy a DIMM of ram since I am giving it up.
I have a spyder w/tank, 150 ball canister, couple of 100 ball refill cans, and a full face mask.
Just an offer but it is really nice for a starter. especially at the price.

Wow, I seem to have a little mail over the PaintBall items. Well, what I have done is created a web page that has the imgaes of the items. I looked at the gun to find the model number. There used to be some writing on the side which probably had the model number or whatnot of the gun but, it has worn away. So, I am just throwing up the pics of it and you can do the research if you so choose.
Keep in mind that this gun has not been used for over 2 years. So, it would be a good idea to replace the gaskets in it prior to taking it out. Usually this cost is less than 10 bux. But I thought it only fair to warn you that it has been sitting. I think I bought it just over 3 years ago. But my memory isn't that good.
The last time I used it was a couple of months after I played in the Spyder cup in PA back in 2K I think. I then ordered a new gun and it ended up on back order, so I cancelled it and just haven't played since then.
Take a look at if you want it you can have it. I have promised 24 hours time to Rainbow to decide if he wants it.
The Equipment can be viewed at http://www.lance-tek.com/PaintBall.htm
Enjoy............

Hmmmm, I don't know what came over me but well, I felt I would post it here just because someone might actually read it.
Don't worry man, like I said in the PM, None of this was directed at you. I just had something to say I guess.
I know I could have sold it for more. But when I was a kid, my parent's didn't have the money to buy us things that we wanted. And at times if it was something they could afford they still wouldn't buy it for fear that they would not be getting what they paid for.
The way I see it, I helped out a fellow SGer and their kid. Yeah a few bux extra would be nice. But then again, it has been sitting in my closet for 2 years. I wasn't getting anything out of it and neither was anyone else.
Eventually it woulda gone in the garbage or to GoodWill and then prolly some MORON woulda gotten it and been vandalous with it.
I would much rather sell it to a guy who would teach his child that it is not just a toy and that there are rules that come with it as opposed to letting some punk get ahold of it and shoot unsuspecting people on the side of the road with it just to laugh at their pain.
Yeah, I live in Indy, it is a little rough in certain areas. I see it a lot. I know the punk kids who live around here would actually do stuff like that. Instead though they blow all of their money on 20" Rims and Stereos that sound like crap and drive through urban areas at 02:00 in the morning blasting the damn music and waking everyone up. Then they pull up to the house where their "homeboy" lives and blare on the horn, waking everyone else up. The cop that lives next door is underpaid and doesn't want to risk the harm to himself and his family or is just too damn lazy to do his job as a civil servant and lets it happen day in and day out.
WOW, I said a lot about nothing. Guess I am tired of the BS around here. Well, rest assured....... Nothing is directed toward you. I Just had a little on my mind tonight I guess.
Yep I sold it for a cheap price. I am just glad to help someone out. Maybe sometime someone will just hook me up for a really good price on something that they have and don't use. Just to be a nice person.

Lol, yeah, the laser disc player we had was a panasonic unit that I had bought out at Redstone Arsenal in Alabama back in '92 when I was TAD there for some avionics training. Got all three Star Wars movies on LD, and also Terminator 1 and 2, as well as a few other movies...

Well the ones I have aren't as glamorous. I have
Fortress: Christopher Lambert
X: Denzel Washington
Gladiator: Cuba Gooding Jr. (local boxing arena in the hood)
Univeral Soldier: Van Damme
TimeCop: Van Damme
The LD player is a Marantz. It has a LD drawer plus a seperate drawer for a single CD. It has a nice lil remote with a rew/fwd knob on it. I bought it back in '98 right before DVD came out for 900 bux. For the past 4 years it has sat on a shelf mostly. I was gonna take it to a pawn shop just to get rid of it but never got around to it. I was thinkin I might get 20 -30 bux at the Pawn shop for it (sold mainly as a single CD player value). Heck man if ya want it, just stop by and pick it up sometime. I got class tomorrow but I should be home really early perhaps by 19:30. Or you can just come by some other time.
Like the PB gun it is sitting in a closet so I am not out to make money on it. (did ya read my rant about the PB gun price?)
just holler, you got my info..........

sounds good to me.
I will let Stacy know, just in case I am at class. That way you can still get it. I think i even have the original paperwork for it around here somewhere.
Oh, if some day you find it is worth big money and you decide to sell it to some collector. Drop me a message and let me know how big of a dumbarse I was for giving it away. Just so I can take all of my degrees back to where I got em from and tell em that the school didn't teach me jack if I was dumb enough to give away a fortune.
Once again, I could have typed a 3-15 word response. But NOOOOOO I had to write a dang novel.
I'm just gonna go to bed.
