How do I find Broadband?
I'm building a home in another state. How do I find out whether cable or DSL is available in the new location?

Search the web (for instance, through search engines like "www.google.com") for cable and dsl isps. Upon retrieval of a list, go 2 each 1's homepage. Usually somewhere on a dsl site, they would provide the viewer with an area to type his/her number to check for the availability of that dsl provider's service based on that number. For cable, they may just give you an section to input the area where you live or better yet, they may list the areas that they provide service for.
As far as cabling goes, I think that it's pretty much safe 2 say that 90% of the time, Comcast is available. When speaking of DSL, it gets tricky, but I would say that most of time, Verizon would be available.
Just be sure to compare ISPS (find out as many ISPS around your area) before choosing.
