Thanks. I gotta get used to the clutch. It's a 5 speed and I've never driven one of those before. Gotta work on the clutch/gas coordination :D I do know how to drive a stick shift, just not used to the clutch on this one yet.

It's all good my friend :) I can see where people would say it is a girly car because it is cute. But, who cares? I sure as hell don't :) At least I'm driving a decent car.

Nice step-up from the last one... :)

With the manual trans you're better off, the auto trans sometimes required major repair after 60K miles...sometimes over $1000 worth! :(

Take it on a roadtrip in May...Michigan SG meet! (we won't have to abuse your pic again)

A buddy of mine was up here from OK and rented one (From Rent-A-Wreck). The thing had nearly 200,000 miles on it, the front end sounded like it was falling apart, but the car rode smoothly. I was impressed.

I'm sure you'll enjoy it Mike. I hope you didn't succomb to some extremely high interest rate to get it though. Did we educate you enough on the loans thing? :)

Unfortunately, I have to give up a week of vacation. I have one week left from last year and I am choosing not to take the vacation and to just take the money (which I am allowed to do). I need the money to go towards the down payment. So, no vacation for me until late August. It's worth it though.

sniff sniff... oh well.. it's only a weekend or something aint it? can't u work the schedule around it? maybe someone around could drive?

Also, it only has 86,000 miles on it. 5 speed manual, cruise control (tested that at 80 MPH last night :D --speed limit is 75). It's taking some getting used to the 5 speeds. Never driven one before. A few times I have gone to shift into third and ended up in 5thImage

Interest is kind high but, the payment terms are actually very good. I was told last night by a few peeps that I did very good. Payment terms are 199.84 for 24 months. Full coverage is going to be around 90 a month.

Talking about the SG meeting? You gonna be there? No way I could drive to Michigan and back in just a few days. I could probably get two or three days off but, that's just not enough time.

Funny thing is I didn't even notice the tinted windows :o Not even during the test drive. Someone told me "Hey! the windows are tinted! Very cool!" LOL

When I got there the guy was like, "So, you wanted to try for an SUV or a truck?". I told him no, rather go with a car becuase they are cheaper to maintain and cost less to register and insure. He agreed.
