Thanks, I use them too in tweaking sometimes to see if I'm headed in the right direction and sometimes, above, regular download test is the best

Don't sleep in Ol' Lobo there. He has alot of knowledge. It's just a matter of sharing it constructively. He seems to like to experiment and find things out on his own like any good tweaker should. Even if it confuses us a bit at times.

how did pc booster speed it up? it didnt help me. only for other pc performance. u mean modem booster? also All experts, wut do u reccomend for my connection 1500, 256 comcast, router(speedstream 2614) 3 comps, intel ve ethernet card, 1.8 ghz 521 ddr ram, 120 gb hd, i play games, download alot, and look at alot of pages. so.. i have 192.168.254.254 router ip address. i have modem booster tcp optimizer, dr tcp( recommended on dslreports.com), cablenut with the xp update( didnt work for me)
wutelse, (kinda not needied info) xp home, p4 x86 processor, g4 64mb mx220, 16x cdrw, 16x dvd, motorolla sb4200 cable modem, etc...

help me tweak internet. I need faster game hosting to. sometimes provide lag. when i first got the comp got constant 187.5 dl not its more like ~ 179. and i no somone who has comcast, a friend who lives near me. who gets better test results for internet.( slower computer, slower everything) he doesnt tweak. his internet gets like around 256 upload while mine is around 240... thanx for helping i want al your opinions evry expert. ook?

First I would recomend you remove everything but cablenut. Go download Adaware and Spybot. Run their update feature than run both programs to remove any spyware. I'll post the settings Steel gave me because we have the same ISP.
