How much have you spent?
How much have you spent?
How much have you spent purchasing hardware over the last year? After adding everything up, I'm just under $5000. Not as bad as I thought!

I have probably spent in the $2000.00 range ... $1700.00 of it on my sig computer ... including the speakers (Klipsch Pro-Media 2.1)
Antec Nine Hundred case, 4GB A-Data DDR2 800 RAM, Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 Conroe 2.66GHz, ASUS P5K-E/WIFI-AP MB, XFX GeForce 8600GT XXX 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 video card, ZALMAN CNPS9500 AT 2 Ball CPU Cooling Fan/Heatsink, Seagate Barracuda 320GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s HDD, Aerocool FP-01 Multifunction panel w/card reader, Zerodba 620W PSU, LITE-ON 20X DVD±R DVD with LightScribe SATA, Samsung CDDVDW SH-S203B SATA, Acer P241W 24" w/s monitor, Canon CanoScan LiDE 35 scanner, Klipsch ProMedia 2.1.
Interesting this poll came up today. I just ordered the Prometeia Omega with the following specs: Lian-li PC65USB with window and blue cold cathode tube; Intel P4 3.06 GHz HT 533 FSB; 1 GB TwinMOS PC3200 (2x512); TTGI Silent TT-520SS 520W PSU; GigaByte GA-8INXP Intel E7205 Socket 478 P4 Dual Channel DDR; Prometeia Phase Shift Microfreezer cooling for CPU (no load operates at -45C); Swiftech Watercooling system for VGU on graphics card; 2 WD 80GB 7200RPM EIDE HDDs; Pioneer 16X DVD-Rom/40x CD-Rom (master); Toshiba 16x40x10x CDRW/12x DVD (slave); ATI All-in-Wonder RADEON 9700 Pro 128MB DDR 8XAGP; Samsung LCD Monitor 191N 19" Display; Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop (KBD/Mouse combo); Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy 2; Klipsch Pro Media 5.1 THX Certified Speaker System; Windows XP Home. With over $200 in shipping charges, that totals just under $6200! But hey, the year is young
If you want to check out the Prometeia cooling systems, go to http://www.hardwaregods.com . Enjoy!

I've been good this year, the monitor was it, besides a couple of games...so about 800 bucks.
Last year, did a mobo/CPU/RAM, that was around 700 bucks.
Got a lot of good used parts over the past year....freebies, etc.
I'll add another 500 bucks soon as the R-350 comes out.

Round about R5000 Ruffly converted $550
So softly , so perfect , seemingly sleepingly
But for you , sleep , forever will do
Wish only to fight the urge
Beaten senselessly for your basic need
Sunken eyes around me ,
sunken spirits is what I see
Children , old beyond their day
My Poetry
