In the past couple of years my girlfriend and I have gone to:

Lake Havasu City, Arizona
Palm Springs, California
San Diego, California
Toucsan, Arizona

I am not a flyer ... 5 hours is my tops ... so I am limited to where we go.

My girlfriend is a flyer so she goes to places I would love to go to:

Thailand
England
Japan
Korea

If I could get sedated someway ... I would love to go to some of these places.

I have posted pictures in the past.
I want to learn more and more to see as beautiful what is necessary in things; then I shall be one of those who make things beautiful. Amor fati: let that be my love henceforth! I do not want to wage war against what is ugly. I do not want to accuse; I do not even want to accuse those who accuse. Looking away shall be my only negation. And all in all and on the whole: some day I wish to be only a Yes-sayer.

Vietnam – a scary place at times… and equally exciting when you found yourself in the company of a beautiful woman (or in my case… a woodland/jungle creature).

I can't tell you what I would give to have a list like that. That is awesome.

I've been to Canada and about 38 states or so. Mostly western, never been to the north-east above Virginia.

Here is my list:

about 35 states in the US
Mexico
Canada
Spain (Ibiza)
Estonia
Norway
Denmark
Sweden
Finland
Netherlands (only the airport)

My wife and I are lucky enough to be able to travel a lot and I would consider that one of my main hobbies. Just this year, we've been to Florida (2 weeks), Chicago (4 days), Tennessee (1 week), Colorado (1 week) and will be going to Mexico on the 26th for 11 days.

I can't wait to get outta here! :)

Places I've been:

Atlanta - 2wks every summer w/ bball team during high school

Asheville, NC - cousin lives there - also been to countless Basketball camps in NC.

West Virginia - annual week-long ski trips w/ my parents

Boulder, CO. - more snow skiing (Arapaho Basin, Breckenridge, Loveland Pass, Vail/Aspen, Steamboat, etc. etc..)

Montana - Big Sky Ski Resort.. 3 different trips.. 6 days a piece. Also some family used to live in Helena.

Akron & Belpre, OH - more of Mom's family..

Evansville, IN. - Dad's family

Versailles, KY - visit former roommate & good friend

Austin, TX - grandparents

Arizona - grand canyon

New Orleans - Mardi Gras '99

Washington, D.C. - 5th grade

I've driven/riden through every other state that would be between Florida and those states mentioned above.. My dad would never fly, he liked driving.. One time, back in '92 while I was still a teenager we left West Palm Beach, FL. at 5:30pm and drove straight through and stopped just west of Kansas City at 6:30pm the next day..

Another little note... my dad's '88 Chevy Blazer died in '99 with 327,000 miles on it. My mom's '94 Blazer is pushing 260,000 now. Lots of cross country trips to remember growing up...

LONGEST VACATION: Buenos Aires, Argentina (3.5 weeks) - after marrying my Argentine wife, it was necessary to go there to meet all my new in-laws and we plan to go there every other year at least.

BEST VACATION SO FAR: Big Sky Montana... if you prefer less crowds, then this kills any other ski resort I've ever been too, including Breckenridge, Vail/Aspen, & Steamboat)

Next vacation plans:

3/03 - West Virginia (Snowshoe Mt.)
6/03 - Buenos Aires, AR.
'04 - Machu Pichu, Peru
'05 - Spain to visit more of wife's family.
