A game 7 would be awesome. This game showed what was in my mind for this series. Hopefully the Pens can hold onto home ice advantage and force teh game 7.

1 to go and I think I should plan to leave work this week and walk a block over for the parade :) (assuming it will be down Woodward again) :thumb:

It is, IMHO, because Therrien isn't putting any blame on his own players or crediting the red wings yet. Still holding on to it's the officials fault. awful.

AND WHY THE HELL ISN'T HE PLAYING CROSBY MORE? Hell, I want to watch him play!

That was some bullshit officiating through the overtimes. Neither of the goaltender interferences should have been called, cross check city coming from the Pens numerous times, a trip on Zetterberg that was overlooked. This is not to say they shouldn't have called the last penalty... the poor calls or no calls need to stop. Call a consistent game and don't swallow the whistle until it is convenient.

Hopefully the Wings can wrap it up next game ... provided they can beat the Pens and the Refs :D

If Kronwall hadn't have scored his goal this would be over :(

Great game tonight! :rockin: I hope no one fell asleep. Fleury was on his game once OT started. It would be nice to see this series go 7...with a Pens win of course. ;)

Sounds like some good excuses. You seem to not see how many infractions the Red Wings got away with in game 1 and 2. The interference is nuts.

I agree that those goalie interferences were crap but you gotta give Fluery some credit. Some of the best goal tending ive seen in quite a while. IN a do or die situation.

HUGE game tonight.

GO PENS!!!! :thumb:

Eh, whatev. I never said I wasn't giving him credit on the saves, the Wings still had chances, but didn't convert. I really don't agree about the interference calls you speak of in games 1 or 2. I think it is a weak cover for not being able to carry the puck in with ease through the neutral zone. Maybe other teams should learn to play tighter D?

Pens got a pretty fortunate (weak) hooking call in there favor in the last 2 minutes as well to give the Pens some undeserved life yet again. In any event it doesn't really matter anymore! I just wish Stuart would have drove cry baby Sid through the boards harder on that check tonight ;)

Go Wings :D Maybe next year Pens (but then again, maybe not ..... Detroit back to back again? :rockin :)

I'm not a big fan of the gloaters either. I mean there's happy for sure, but rubbing it in just isn't for me. Although, where is Sito?

:D

Whats worse is i had NO chance to see the Pens play in person this year. I've only seen Crosby and Malkin live once!!

The league needs to make it so every team plays at every arena at least once a year. Drives me nuts to not see them when the Stars are right down the road.

Next year

17th year I've had to say that!!

What is weighing on my mind is how many teams ive seen lose in the finals and fall apart the next year. Especially since we need to sign Fleury and he proved this year how much he is worth. What about Malone? Malkin is the year after....

how much longer will this team stay together?
