I use Irfanview. It's a whole lot more then just a screen capture tool. It's more like a poormans Paintshop and it's free to boot!

Here is a link to great screen capture program.
I have used it for a few years and really find it useful.
If you have a spreasheet and want to cut out a part of it and send to somebody. Swish, and it is done , well not quite that fast but it does work fast.
