Software or webby to determine latency

Hi there, does anyone know of any software or website that detects your internet speed? Cause I've been having lotsa problems with my ISP, need something to confirm that I'm lagging and its not some prog that I'm running....Thanks

To monitor you connection try Analog X's NetStat Live. Prior to that I would suggest coming over to the Tweaking Forum so we can make sure everything is tweaked properly, we may solve your problem easily.

To measure latency, traceroute a few random servers;

open a command window and type te following and hit the enter key:

tracert http://www.yahoo.com

the times in miliseconds will show lags and latency on the routers the packets pass to and fro upon. Send the completed tracert to isp, esp if higher times are shown on isp network.
No one has any right to force data on you
and command you to believe it or else.
If it is not true for you, it isn't true.
