The differnce between dsl and cable??

Post by sentra8777 »

Hi At&t boardband switched to comcast in my area. So now finaly after millons of years my area has cable modem. I think it took along time because my area had like 3 cable companies in the past 5 years. But anyway right now i have sbc yahoo dsl that was once prodigy. I have like a 500 kbs dsl line which i pay 49.95 for. Will i notice a big differnce if i switch to comcast cable modem service???

sentra8777 A 500 DSL line is not that good .But the big thing with cable or dsl is if the ISP is any good? You need to talk to someone in your area.If cable will give you more speed like 1500 or 2000 down I would go with cable but if your looking at about the same speed with DSL I would stay with DSL . One other thing to think about is that from what I hear and see is that it take a new cable co. about 6 month to a year to get the bug's out of a new start up.So do your homework ,take your time and you will pick the right one for you.
