did u read about how the chinese don't like this game cos of how they are portrayed in it? hehe...
Considering how China has pretty much banned almost everything, including anything that could possibly be called "entertaining" or "beneficial", I don't think most people (at least outside of the country) really care.

wonder when that happened.
He made some hot headed comments about the mods over on the general forum...and Philip axed him after repeatedly warning him about his posts...

Any idea when there might be a price reduction of the game? 50$ is a bit too much for me to spend right now.
Seems like most of the 'first-run' games have a shelf life of 6 to 12 months...after that, unless you get it on sale first, is probably when you'll see a reduction...

That game rocks...I had my first experience with this game at Lan party recently and love it. I beat it with China first and im almost finished with the USA. Of course i'm on normal
This is the first time ive ever played this type of game, ive always played the FPS's till now.
I think China has better weapons(in the game at least) than the USA. The Gatlin(sp?) cannons freaking rule.

yea, what I did is do not destroy all the GLA buildings when you cross river, build up all your forces, then destroy the last building (s). then I went up the right side hard and fast, the missles are right in the middle, just make sure you put those missle defense things up at your base... good luck

Game lag help on C&C Generals
Hi guys, love the forums, although very new to them.
I posted somewhere else which i think was the wrong place to post but here it is again if ANYONE can shed some light on this problem.
I have a dogs bollocks system at home. I have various machines running on internal WiFi LAN. I have tried playing generals online and I get booted because i have too much lag. I can't figure out why!!!??
The machine is as follows:
Dual Pentium Xeon 3.2 Ghz with 2Gb RAM, NVIDIA 128 Accelerator and 54Mbps WiFi connected to a BT Voyager 2100 ADSL modem router.
The router is always on connected to BTs 1.1Mbps (to be 2Mbps anyday now) ADSL.
I have tried opening all the ports on the firewall just in case but NO LUCK. With the specs above I can't see why i would be getting LAG at all. The PC is geared for hi end compositing and visual effects so I can work in combustion and 3ds max AND play that game with ease but after running the most basic startup functions of the system I STILL CAN'T stop this lag problem.
Anyone help me at all? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE?
My brother has the same connection in another city and he plays it just fine from his laptop.... what a head mess....
Thanks folks
