What is a good program for IRC for the Mac? Or is there one?

I thought this board would be more likely to receive an answer than the software board. More populated, and ****.

this is not a big mac board

Personally I like snak, but it's limited to 30 minutes at a time, shareware. You could try googling ' "os x" irc client '

Yeah, I hear ya. It's for a friend of mine with a mac. XP myself.
