Bad Idea

Post by major marco »

I bet you wouldnt say that if you got run over by a 3 ton SUV while driving it. The official count on any given freeway in the U.S. is something like 1 in 6 people drive an SUV. Both the little 350Z and you would be a greasy smears on the road.

Not bitter. Just injecting a bit of reality into the boy's fantasy.

don't think i would ever kill for a car. but if i were forced to kill for a car, it would probably be for one i don't like.... like an all original Rolls Royce Silver Spur or Silver Cloud. or maybe one of the original Alfa Romeo BAT series prototypes.... something i could auction off and buy several exotic sports cars and classic american muscle cars with.

I've been a fan of the "Z's", right from the early models (240, 260, on up to the 280). When did they start, '69 or '70? Started losing my affection by the time the later 280 went into the "ZX" models...they started getting a bit bloated...losing what they originally were. The 300 Z continued that.

One of the more influencial cars in the history of sports cars...brought affordable performance to the american market.

But the new model.....very clean, really nice lines to it. I've seen a few around town...they really are gorgeous in my opinion.

Dude...I can't believe I read that! Not that many peeps know about some rare Alfa's!

I learned to drive on an Alfa...my dad had a 2000 GTV Sprint Veloce. Very much just like the one in this picture...this one even has the Alfa Montreal magnesium wheels like my dads had.

The thing sccccccreeeeaamed.....the engine just begged to constantly be above 5000 rpm...what a gorgeous exhaust note.

Now how can I transplant that in my Jeep!

Heh, J/K.

Displacement on Demand....wow, they're bringing that back, eh? They had tried that before, they had an 8/6/4 engine in the 80's in various GM cars....had a lot of trouble with it. Great idea though...certain makes sense.
