I am Jim (36). I have a beautiful wife (34) and two handsome sons (5,2). I live in the great northwest.

I am a consumer, that would quit his job and move to Idaho or Montana if I hadn't become comfortable with my lifestyle. Some call it "affluenza".

I am the same on the 'net as in real life. Really.

I am Emmitt Smith
I want to learn more and more to see as beautiful what is necessary in things; then I shall be one of those who make things beautiful. Amor fati: let that be my love henceforth! I do not want to wage war against what is ugly. I do not want to accuse; I do not even want to accuse those who accuse. Looking away shall be my only negation. And all in all and on the whole: some day I wish to be only a Yes-sayer.

(choose not to get the PhD as industry is full of them and there are many more jobs for a MS chemist, otherwise i'd have that too.) i'm currently living in central pa and working as an r&d chemist for a chemical company. i've been married for about 8 months, but we've know each other since college. she's a veterinarian, so i guess she would be mrs dr thechemgeek, heh.

i came to SG one day to find info on modem tweeking....and have been here ever since. sorry, heh.
