Is there a backbone down?

Post by Humboldt »

SG is loading fast half the time, not at all the other half.

Tons of sites aren't loading for me at all, like http://www.techbargains.com and http://www.dealcatcher.com

I think there's an attack happening. My modem receive light has been solid red for almost an hour.

The problem was apparently due to insecure Microsoft SQL servers scanning people on the internet via port 1434.

Hi Everyone!

It's actually UUNET's Dallas Backbone that got royally messed up with pinging times reaching 1700 - 2200 ms ... That in turn, affected other backbones...

Check it out http://www.internetpulse.net

When will this ever STOP Bluuuuuuuuh
