One of my users had a blown monitor. After replacing it with a new monitor she asked me if I would be placing her icons back into her new monitor. She then warned me not to be to rough with her old monitor as the icons may fall out.

Can you imaging that? The hole floor would be littered with icons!

Another retard was having problems with her PC. I was talking to her on the phone and her computer crashed. I than told her to re-boot the computer and tell me everything the she sees on the screen. After 2 minutes of silence I hear loud banging on the keyboard. After asking her what the hell she was doing she told me that it said "press any key to run scandisk" and it wasnt working.

WHY TO PEOPLE THINK THAT IF SOMETHING IS NOT RESPONDING CLICKING OR HITTING THE KEY 89 TIMES WILL DO SOMETHING? You would figure after the 3rd time they would get the hint.

when the remote runs out of battery.. u press it as hard as possible thinking that if you push the buttons hard enuff it might work..

I press the buttons repeatedly, not hard though.. one time out of 100 it works....

Read a tech tale about a guy servicing a printer. He was running a test page, and the test page comes out in all K's. One of the ladys at the office asks why it prints all K's. The tech decides to be funny and tells her that K is one of the least used letters in the alphabet, and he wouldnt have to worrie about them running out of K's to print, so thats why the test page is in K's. Lady goes away for a bit, comes back later holding a few documents, hands them to the Tech. Tech takes a look and its a couple of business documents with all the K's circled. Lady says "You know I was looking, and it seems that we probably use more K's then most, do you have any extra K's cause we would hate to run out." Tech says, "Yeah have a whole box of em out in the truck". Tech finish's serviceing the printer, lady says dont forget the K's. Tech goes out to the truck grabs an empty toner box, goes inside and just acts like he pours the empty toner box into the top of the printer. Then tells lady "well you wont be having to worrie about any K's"

How he kept a straight face through that I will never know.

U lady, have just reached the zen of tech support. well sh1t dont have a trailer to that line cuz i cant make it not sound bad. i.e. nothing is better the a gud sound wack/pound/smacking for trouble shooting. It all sounds bad today. Ah well.

the one about the icons falling out is the best i bout died laughing. i kinda feel sorry for ppl like that though because they most likely will never have any idea how much ppl make fun of them but i still laugh my a$$ off at em so i cant say im not somebody who dosnt make fun of em but just think if you were stupid enough to believe that you only had a certian ammount of k's i mean if somebody told you that taping feathers to your back would make you fly you probly believe that too. im just gonna stop typing now because i forgot what i was talking about way back there
