If I was innocent to can rest assured I'd stick to my guns. Hell, even if I knew I was guilty I would still plead innocent. :D

If I'm guilty I'll admit it (in court) if not guilty I won't budge.
I'll plead for leniency if I'm guilty.

If I was arrested, I wouldn't say a word if questioned by the police. And I wouldn't sign any statements without a lawyers advice first.

I don't trust cops and I don't have the wit when I'm nervous. :D

Well it was the NYPD they were dealing with, and we've seen their brutality. Is their really any question as to why they confessed to a crime they didn't commit.
