I refuse to take part in something that results in another human being dying. Sorry.
So trade that typical for something colorful, and if it's crazy live a little crazy!

It would depend on whether or not my life depended on it (or the lives of my family and friends)

If we were being invaded, I'd fight to the last breath.

I'd join and die if necessary. You wouldn't need to draft this guy. ;)

Paft...everyone has a threshold.

What yours is is none of my business.

But I guarantee you....an enemy will find it and you will respond .

I haven't met a person in my life that will allow their ass to be kicked.

Well, I wouldn't dodge-- but there's no way I'd ever be put out into battle-- I am a weak, skinny out-of-shape person.

screw being drafted
everybody in my family has been in the military
so im enlisting
i think that serving in your countries military is a very honorable thing
i would put my life on the line to serve my country

so my answer is yes
i would go to war and not be like a hipie and spend a few years in canada like those cowards did during NAM

Hell yeah...and I'd be right by your side.

Nobody in their right mind wishes for war. I don't.

But if the situation required us to defend ourselves...we would all band together and do what had to be done...no more, no less.

If you go in with the mindset that all they are doing is messing with your head, then you'll get through with no problems...the ones that have the hardest time are the ones that don't realize that it's all a game...

I would never allow my country to hoodwink me into fighting in a war like the Vietnam war.

I'm up to about 185 nowadays...need to get down to around 155...that'd be about just right for my size...

it was for a cause
the cause was preventing a country from being taken over by another country

in the gulf war we were protecting kuwait from being taken over by iraq

in vietnam we were helping south vietnam from being taken over by north vietnam

Yup.

And if you were scared Q....I'd let you stay right behind me.

Everybody gets scared. I get scared from time to time. But I know and am comforted that we at least have eachother.

I'm 5'8" and now weigh 200 even. I lost 25 pounds in the last 5 months tho my wife is feverishly trying to put more on me. :D

I'll be to my ideal weight of 180 by May with some luck. Age isn't helping me either. hehe

I would proudly serve my country in war what ever way I could...I would have joined the Navy right out of hig school, but I need to drop about 100 pounds first...

Will someone chew me out monday, wednesday, and thursday mornings if I don't go to the gym...?

I don't think they'd let go into battle

I am 100% deaf in my Left ear, only my right one works, so it could go out easily with loud gunshots and all

i wouldn't want to get in that situation

but i wouldn't mind working behind the lines as a computer repair person :D

anything i could do to help our troops
