I haven't had the chance to listen yet because I'm still at work and I can't blast it in my cubicle, but when I get home I will surely enjoy..
I've been producing electronic music since '97 (my late night hobby) but listening to it since '91. I used to make a lot of trance when I first started making music (inspired by the works of UnionJack & Juno Reactor among many others). When I got my first drum machine in '98 (DR-202 which I still use), I started working a little with breaks and now I'm into my own style that falls more under experimental electro. My friend David runs a promotion company, http://www.babybutterflyproductions.com that promotes in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Orlando, & West Palm Beach.
I'll post back what I think when I get home.. good to see fellow musicians expressing their creativity...
edited,, before I listen, I like to ask this question to everyone I meet that makes music.. If you had to list 5 artists that have provided you with the most inspiration, who would they be? I ask that because it's interesting to gain perspective on what type of musical fuel you've been feeding your engine of creativity.
my answer to that question is probably:
1. Dr. Alex Patterson (Orb)
2. Jonah Sharpe (Spacetime Continuum)
3. Richard D. James
4. Juno Reactor
5. Coldcut
6. Orbital

Pretty cool. I am sure I have heard some other stuff by them before. They have a unique sound. Parts of it are trancey and some parts have a house sound to them and then it has some hard techno too.
