Yep I did it today, I found an importer that sells a beer I used to drink in germany, when I lived there. It is the best beer I have ever drank. I had not had any in 8 years. Purchased all he had like 4 cases, cost about 110.00 dollars I an sooo excited!!! :D :D :D

Franziskanner, Paulaner, Hacker-Pschorr, Edelweiss.... all fantastic weissbier. my favorite by a very wide margin.

MMMMM looks good

I came home got my 0.5l glass from germany poured most of it in and then swirrled all the yeast up in the bottom, before the Final pour!!!! Heaven!!!! :)

Erdinger is great, they have it at a local german restraunt here in SF caled 'suppenkuch'. good stuff.
I like how they pour the beer, then roll the bottle to wick all the yeast into the foam and then swirl it on the top of the beer.

now im thirsty, but no beer for me for a while, I'm on a diet :(

my method is to either a) turn the bottle upside-down so the air bubble can be swirreled around and break up/dissolve the yeast quickly, or to b) pour a bit more than 3/4 of the beer into a frosty mug and then swirl the remaining contents to mix the yeast (and then pour the rest).

it is extremely tasty. it has a very unique taste. not sweet, but........ "bready". very filling, too. and hearty. not something one drinks to get wasted (although it can be done)..... too filling.
