Wow.....way way back when Asteroids, Sub Hunter, Start Castle, Defender...all those old arcade games. Junior High School...used to spend all my lawn money and paper route money...ride my bike down to the local arcade.

Then the first Atari 2600 came out....weeee....

Things moved on up from there.

I remember the first Castle Wolf...on a, hrmmm, 386 possibly...might have been a 286..can't remember.

Heh, long time...now I'm showing my age....

I was figuring.."When did you get HOOKED on gaming"

Too long.
The sixty-four bit upgrade to the thirty-two bit extension and graphical shell to a sixteen-bit patch to an eight-bit operating system originally coded for a four-bit microprocessor which was written by a two-bit company that can't stand one bit of competition.

Played since the days of pong back in the 70's...my dad's parents had one of those pong consoles (back around 76 or 77 I think), and my mom's parents bought us an Atari 2600 for Christmas of '79...we got Combat and Breakout with it that year :D

So, in terms of years, 26...
