BF1942 problem

BF1942 problem

Whenever i play this game my monitor blink every few second anyone have any clue on what might be causing that?

PS:Here is my system spec
P1.6@2.21
1.00GB ram
Geforce 4 TI4200
Asus P4S533

hmmmm....Im not sure why your monitor would blink every few seconds. Could it be with the refresh rate? I wouldn't think it would be but I guess it couldn't hurt to try it. I would set it to 65hz or something like that. This only happens in this game yeah? And you installed the retail patch?

i had to install a lot of updated drivers for windows xp to work with battlefield 1942. that game requires a lot...u got the latest vid drivers? etc?

i'm using the lastest nvidia detonator driver 40.41. And my laster soundblaster live driver too. I can't set my refresh rate any higher using 1280 by 1024 at 60 hertz. Any other clue?

ok looks like i fixed the problem. It was fast write that was causing the blinking. After i disabled blink is gone. Wootie! :)
