Here is one of my Scores...
http://service.madonion.com/compare?2k1=2859093
And thats all overclocked
3dmark was back to its ussual self crashing to desktop so i didnt get an up to date bench...
Notice how I state i jumped nearly a 1000 marks by getting the latest 4in1's?
Do you need em?

I would say that something is up. My score was 72XX with:
1.4 TBird
512MB PC133
Radeon 8500 (250/275) - catalyst 2.2
30GB WD
Win 2K
I would assume that you should see at the least around 8500+. When I receive the Retail 8500 in the next day or two (long story) I will see what, if any difference there is in my score. You may want to check your bios settings and make sure they are optimized and not some bs setting like AGP 1X.

That doesn't sound right at all....
I have a XP2000+ as well, on a MSI KT3 Ultra 2 (KT333A) with a GF4Ti4200, 256 mb ram ddr333 and Win2k SP1. With a bit of overclocking (fsb 145 mhz; gf4 to 310/620) I got up to 12,125 3DMark2001SE score. I can't imagine that the Radeon 8500 is THAT much worse than the GF4.
Cheers,
Ronald

still at that were talkin bout 1500 marks.... i expected at least a 9000 on this thing... cause "supposedly" the AMD 2000 is better than my p4 1.8a.... the ram IS better its pc3200 vs pc2100.... and the video card in the AMD is a radeon 8500 with 128megs.... and mine in the p4 is the 64 meg one.....
well the computer is out of my hands now..... the person has it, and its fine for them, i was just amazed..... and lol
YOS i couldnt get into the BIOS anyway to make those changes.... i built the comp in my dorm room and all i had was a USB keyboard.... and if there is a setting to enable USB on boot or whatever... it was disabled.....
