I have a D-link 614+ router and ever since I got it hooked it up. AIM has been disconnecting, and then logs back in after like a couple seconds. I use a DWL-520+ wireless PC Adapter on the computer that I am using. The other computer disconnects from AIM just like this one so it isn't just this computer. I am using Windows XP on both computer and I have the latest firmware.

Mine is doing that too , I think it a bug in the AIM program. It will stop if I reboot my computer but start up again if I change user on winxp

Latest firmware for the router? Don't know that product but if it started happening when you got the router...

Yeah I have all the Windows Updates and I dont think that it's AIM because AIM never did that until I got the router.

I think the problems started like right after I upgraded the firmware. also when AIM disconnects so does MSN and Yahoo. So that means it's not just AIM.

Also AIM says that I lost my connection to AIM alerts like right after I sign back on from being kicked.
