Nice work, guys! So who's gonna add some vocals? Where's Seed?
The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, and prejudices to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all of its own for the children and the children yet unborn and the pity of it is that these things cannot be confined to the Twilight Zone.

Sounds sweet,Bad Ass, I think after the intro about at the 50 sec mark where the guitar breaks down, to come back in with a little hard loose string growl, think some Pantera - 5 minutes alone sound, to go along with the hard drums. Which remind me alot of the one and only sound of the ...And Justice For All album. Before Metallica turned into Pop Stars LOL. A little Mix, But thats some good stuff.

Does EA play and record the drums and sends that over to UOD who plays the guitar and mixes it? Or do they actually know each other and play it together.

I missed something along the line ;)

You should really go out as a bloody band. You guys kick major ass.

Lyric Idea:

(The lyrics are all spoken at diffrent parts in the song. I don't know why I chose 9/11, but the song seemed to fit it. I can change the topic if you wish.)

(5 seconds)

In the year 2001, a terrible tragedy befell the United States of America. It was an attack on our pride, an attack on our freedom. More importantly, it was an attack we could not choose to stand for.

(21 seconds)

(45 seconds)

This is a fight which we must gather arms for. This is a battle where we have no winner, but where we instead prove that what they're doing is wrong. We must stand and we must hope that we're going to come out on top.

(57 seconds)

(1:27)

There will be no mercy for those who kill. There will be no release for them from their pain.. there will only be endless torment and sadness.

(1:36)

(2:19)

They have lost their right to be free. They have lost the only hope that they may have ever carried. Their actions.. are unforgivable.

(2:28)

(3:10)

I only hope that they can repent and stop now, before we are truly awakened in fury and unholy fire.

(3:17)
So trade that typical for something colorful, and if it's crazy live a little crazy!

Not my style of music, BUT the quality is very professional and extremely well done. LT-73 mentioned: "Sounds like a great movie car chase theme!" And I can definitely see that. There's no reason this could not be on a commercial release.

One thing I notice is that there is a lot of emotion going on in this song and even though it's not my style of music I found it somehow comforting and releasing, if that makes any sense.

im guessing that the intro is e dropped down to a d can get sum really heavy sounds when u lower your e string to a d.

UOD how do you get such good quality sound do you go into a studio?

I'm using a modified drop D tuning where I drop all the way to A and adjust as if I were playing in drop D. So I'm basically tuning the whole guitar down to drop A lol.

how do you record? in a studio? or do you use direct in? I would like to send some riffs but the only way i can record is with the mic on my head set and the sound sucks. i was thinking of useing direct input but that really sucks when you want feedback.

studio?

btw thats a heavy tuning im gonna have to cut my self a big peice of chocolate cake and try that

yeah...multidollar studio....it's called my living room. I use direct line in alot but I also use a mic right off center of the cone of my amp. Mic gets the best sound. But since having my daughter...I have to keep things sorta quiet. ;)

Kick ass stuff guys! I know, my vocals...

I got the lyrics down... now I need a place to record, since my neighbors have been calling the police because of my "noise" (next time I'll get a nice fine...). I'm planning to meet with Dave on Friday, hopefully I'll get 'em recorded then.

EA, about your question in the pm, if there should be anything added... NO! :D

Good Stuff!!! I couldn't find a flaw throughout. The beats weren't repetitive like home grown tunes always do. The beats changed just enuff. If I didn't know it was home grown, I'd never know. Submit that somewhere!!

I make the drums with software... Fruityloops 3. After I get the tracks layed down I save it as a mp3 and send it to UOD.

We ussualy don't talk about what we are going to do so it's a suprise for both of us.

Sometimes we exchangre ideas tho,.

After listening to UOD's suggestions I beleive that I finaly got my drums to sound very powerful.

Thanks for the compliments folks...

I created one from some sounds that SoC got off his drum maker thang... or keyboards...

Would you like the kit?

I can sent the .flp for it too so you can see the settings I used as well.
