router. cable. help. need!

Post by stevebakh »

hey... need help (again) :p

i wanna get a cable router to share my bb connection but I'm not sure which is the best one for me... I also need some info about them... like:

obviously i can't just plug in and connect to the net.. so do they come with connection software that lets you enter passwords/usernames etc.... The linksys ones are supposed to be good... but this one has a link up for a hub so that upto 253 people can connect... can anyone gimme an opinion!?¿

I use and have installed many Linksys BEFSR41's. It has a 4-port switch built-in and an uplink port where you can add hubs or switches (up to 253 users total). I can say that they are truly easy to setup and are reliable for the most part.
