More cable TV, < Bandwidth?
I have a qeustion, does having more TVs in your house with cables connections affect your Cable modem bandwith at all? It seems like it would.

If everything is properly connected and all the signal levels are within the operating range, other connections will not affect the cable modem operation. You also have to include what is called ingress. If there is something on the system that produces noise on the upstream band, it could affect the operation of the cable modem. Usually the cable tech will place filters on the "non-data" cable connections to eliminate this possibilty.

Phatty Styx:Your cable modem should be on a line by it self . The spliter should be at the point were it hit you house.then all the tv on another spliter.I am on roadrunner and my speed is very good but they had to put in a bigger line from the road to my house because the cable couldn't carry the load for all the tv I have .
