You sure system restore is off, all running programs, firewalls, virus scanners, ICQ, AIM:
In IE, go to Tools, internet options, connection tab at top, LAN settings at bottom, nothing should be checked in this box, NOTHING, No auto detect, no proxy, no automatic configuration script, NOTHING, REBOOT

I did a check on everything, everything is all good. I guess rogers just suck no matter how u tweak it, maybe cuz my modem isnt docsis ... I'm gonna call em when they're archives are back online, I called em earlier today they said something about their systems being offline so they can't access my account information. So I'll call them in a few days to ask to switch the modem if I can, otherwise I'll go shopping for ISP =) sigh, disapointing tho, I've had rogers for quite a few years too.

=) Goodbye Rogers!
Well I think I'm gonna get rid of Rogers now, had to say I've been more than a patient customer. I think I'll go with AEI's 3.5mb DSL and hope that works out good. I think SpeedGuide needs a ISP Flamming thread in their forums
so people like me can warn others not to use ROGERS@Crap!
I noticed a lot of people who are complaining usually are using Rogers. Well I wish ya'll luck cuz I give up
