USB only modem!

Post by F_OJ »

I have a satelite connection which terminates on a box that has only a USB connection on it (no ethernet ports). I need to connect it to a broadband router (Compex 15B preferably) which only has ethernet ports on it.

1. Does anyone know if there is a way to connect this.

2. Alternatively does anyone know of a broadband router that can support a USB connection to the sat box/cable modem.

Thanks in advance.

The quick, cheap, and short of it would be a usb <> ethernet pigtail. Beyond that I punt. :)
