i have a problem with my network i am using to lan card to connect my 2 puters working fine and then 1 to connect my #1 computer to my cable modem all works well until i try to send files through msn irc etc through my #2 computer both are running win xp pro all other web surfing etc works gr8 however i need to b able to send files etc from my second computer i hear a lot of talk about routers switches etc but i know very little about them
do i need 2 use 1 2 b able to send from my second computer ??? if somebody could explain how to do this it would b greatly apreciated and in lamens terms would b better as i know very little about this side of thing thnx in advance
Yeah m8 all firewalls are turned off yet i am still pulling a eroor canoot connect through fire wall message etc and no zone alarms has never been installed on either puter
Well i m behind home network just like how you are now, and i m having problems sending files through msn too, but for ICQ i just enable firewall with no proxy in the setting and everything works fine.
