I finally got it work, but now its a little scratchy, and its not that big of a deal. I'd like to fix it if someone knows how to.

it's usually related to a driver. try going to windowsupdate and see if a new driver fixes the problem. Or it could be a slower processor, but it's often driver related.

Hehe, the processor is no problem now 1.1ghz. Anyway I really dont know where to get the since driverguide.com isnt working for me and the manufacters site doesnt have them anymore.

One place to get them would be from the website of your motherboards manufacturer.

You might wanna check the new 4in1's. My sound was a little staticky and when i installed the new 4in1's, dog gone my sound was perfect ! ;)

You did say you have a VIA chipset on that board right?

yea new drivers are needed...thatll help everything trust me...just built my new computer and a friend of mine hooked me up with the newest via chipset drivers and they work great.
