Help me

Post by Maltonsniper68 »

Someone help me tweak my connection please

TCP options string = 020405b40103030101010402

MTU = 1500
MTU is fully optimized for broadband.

MSS = 1460
Maximum useful data in each packet = 1460, which equals MSS.

Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 93440
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 1 bits
Unscaled Receive Window = 46720
RWIN is a multiple of MSS
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
513920 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)
256960 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
128480 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
64240 (MSS x 44)

bandwidth * delay product:
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 3737.6 kbps (467.2 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 1495.04 kbps (186.88 KBytes/s) @ 500ms

MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON

Time to live left = 48 hops
TTL value is ok.

Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF

Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON

IP type of service field (RFC1349)= 00000000

I have Cable (Rogers@home), 1500/192
I tested my speed and its at 1132/184
I have Windows xp
And another thing can u help me increase my upload speed i read in Dr.Tweaks Tips that i could incease the defaultsend speed or something like that

I really doesn't look that bad. It needs a minor fix here and there but you're in the game. Slow night tonight. Someone smart will be along in the AM to give you a hand.
People will forget what you said... and people will forget what you did... but people will never forget how you made them feel.

Your upload cap is 192 and you are at 184 that is very good, you aren't going to get anymore out of it. :)

You are at about 85% of your caps which is very good, there are probably causes beyond your control that you are not going to get anymore. :)
