G@h2.01

Post by ScottE »

Seems to me that all it is crunching now is some kind of test. It is listed on everyone who has been running the 2.01 G@H client. That is all that Enuck has listed as being Crunched.
Respect it.

Well I just killed it on my mine.

Came back from comp show and found it running a folding wu! I didn't switch to run any folding at this time! :(
They told (us) to open up the Embassy, or "we'll blow you away." And then they looked up and saw the Marines on the roof with these really big guns, and they said in Somali, "Igaralli ahow," which means "Excuse me, I didn't mean it, my mistake".

I haven't had any problems with the new client. Other than the fact that it keeps running the same test protein over and over again. Probably because it's so new the researchers haven't written any proteins for it to crunch. It is a hell of alot faster than .99 though.

Well it seems I wasn't the only who this happened to. It seems if it can't connect to the genome server after just 1 try it switches to the folding server downloads the f@h core then merrily folds away.

I wound up deleting everything in the directory except the .exe file and reran it. This time it downloaded the genome core is genomin' again.

Really unhappy that I lost a couple or more hours on this boxen, it looks that the frogs will finally lap us sometime tonite or sunday am.

FYI for those of you that don't know there is a folding/genome board here . the yahoo message board is pretty dead now days.
